About

0803IMGP1741-300Pete was born in Poland, moved before turning six and now resides in Canada for over twenty years. Over the course of his life Pete was drawn to photography but failed to recognize the signs pulling him into it. It took him many failed endeavors, and some years lost, to finally realize he was meant to create images.

For many years Pete explored photography as a hobby, up until the day he captured an image that would change his life forever. While visiting a local hill, he turned around and witnessed the most amazing light rays blanketing a beat up fence laying on the ground. He clicked away, and upon returning home, Pete realized he had just created art. From that point on he went on to attend photography classes at Humber College to sharpen his skills and improve on his talent. He now considers photography to be not only a hobby, but a passion which he uses to explore life with.

Pete has many subjects he enjoys capturing, including nature, architecture, and travel, but his calling is in documentary style photography. His photography centers around the philosophy of Zen, simply meaning he photographs in the moment. While he does at times scout events and locations prior to shooting, he mostly focuses on capturing moments and events in their raw moments, without much posing or focus on getting it perfect, rather on keepsaking that special split second while it all unfolds.
